The story revolves around a 13-year-old Guddu who works as a Servant in a tea shop. His father, a former musician, was an alcoholic, and his singer mother had left the family. Therefore, he had to take on his family responsibilities at an early age. Music is his passion, he loves to observe, listen and create new songs. On her daily chai delivery visit, she watches the wedding ring rehearse intently, completely losing its sense of time. He has the desire to join the band some day. Besides Guddu, this film also tells the story of another street kid who works near a Guddu tea shop. One day while wandering the city, they come across a carnival where they see an orchestra perform for money that inspires them to form their own band. Atkan Chatkan represents the dreams of millions of young people who have no means but a burning passion that requires careful nurturing to grow and succeed in life.
