Slimming World Super Easy Super Healthy Syn Free Tzatziki Sauce Recipe

Tzatziki sauce is  it’s surprisingly easy to make your own Slimming World version of tzatziki sauce at home, whenever you want. You don’t need to order carry out from a Greek restaurant to enjoy some tzatziki sauce.

I was recently reading a supplement inside a Slimming World magazine about food from around the world and Greek food as a whole was the easiest to adapt to make nice food without feeling like you are on a diet.

And, best of all, all the ingredients for this sauce are syn-free, so you have a lot of leeway in deciding what to eat this sauce with. Also, there is no cooking involved. All you need to do to make this Slimming World recipe is chop and mix!

I had some very weird and wonderful ways for enjoying my Slimming World Tzatziki Sauce and they might not be for everyone but I love them with some chicken breast, with boiled eggs instead of mayonnaise, with evening tapas, with pulled pork and the list can go on forever!
You can use this syn-free tzatziki sauce as a marinade for a Slimming World chicken dinner, or as a dip for chips or vegetables.

Recipe type: Free Slimming World Recipes Cuisine: Sauces Author: Samantha Milner Prep time: 5 mins Total time: 5 mins Serves: 8
Ingredients
2 Tbsp Dried Dill
3 Cloves Of Garlic
1 Large Tub Of Fat Free Greek yogurt
1 Cucumber
1 Lemon
Salt
Instructions
Puree the garlic cloves.
Slice the cucumber in half and scoop out the seeds and then drain out any of the water from the cucumber to stop your sauce from being too runny.
Then chop the cucumber into very small squares.
Grate ¼ of the lemon rind and add the juice from one slice of lemon into a bowl with the Greek yoghurt. Also add the garlic and the cucumber into the bowl.
Mix it altogether and stir in the dill.

If you are serving it with lamb kebabs it is often nicer if you use fresh finely chopped mint instead of dill. But this is often down to personal preference.
